Ursuline Academy high school juniors recently participated in the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, one of the world’s largest annual gatherings focused on advancing gender equality and the rights of women and girls. Two Ursuline Girls, Luciana Hernandez and Cline Faust, and high school history teacher, Christina Schlaudecker, were featured on Fox-8 News to talk about their trip, the panel a few of the students participated in, and how the girls were able to be engaged with peers and leaders from around the globe while reflecting on the role young women can play in shaping a more just and equitable future!
