Our admissions process is slightly different depending on grade level. In all cases, an online application is required. Please note: you don't need to complete the application in one sitting: after setting up your account, you will be able to save and return to your work.

Application Process by Grade Level


 

Lily House (Nursery School)

Lily House serves both boys and girls from six weeks to two years old. To apply, complete the online application and submit the appropriate an application fee.
Admissions decisions for Lily House are communicated on a rolling basis, within approximately two weeks after a completed application is submitted.

 

Early Childhood (Pre-K)

Ursuline's Early Childhood program serves girls and boys ages 2-4. To apply, complete the online application, and submit the appropriate application fee. Age-appropriate screenings are required for each applicant.

Admissions decisions for Early Childhood applicants who meet the early application deadline (December 9) will be sent by January 31.

 

Lower School (Kindergarten–Grade 4)

Our Lower School welcomes girls from kindergarten through fourth grade. The complete list of steps for application include:
  • Complete the online application
  • Submit the appropriate application fee
  • Provide the past three years of academic records
  • Provide standardized test scores (current grade level).
  • Complete a grade-level assessment (provided by Ursuline Academy).

Admissions decisions for Lower School applicants who meet the early application deadline (December 9) will be sent by January 31.


 

Middle School (Grades 5–7)

Middle school at Ursuline serves girls in Grades 5 through 7. Our online application process and email communications from the school will provide guidance. The complete list of steps for application include:

  • Complete the online application,
  • Submit the appropriate application fee
  • Provide the past three years of academic records
  • Provide standardized test scores (current grade level).
  • Complete a grade-level assessment (provided by Ursuline Academy).

Admissions decisions for Middle School applicants who meet the early application deadline (December 9) will be sent by January 31.


 

High School (Grades 8–12)

Ursuline Academy high school welcomes girls in grades eight through twelve. 
Priority is given to applicants who submit a complete application file that includes the following by Monday, December 9:

Letters of acceptance for first round High School applicants will be mailed February 27.

Applying to Eighth Grade?
Seventh grade families who are already enrolled at Ursuline or any other Catholic middle school in the Archdiocese of New Orleans must complete the Archdiocese High School Application (also called a “white card”).
 
The "white card" is not required for applicants to grades 9–12 and is not required for applicants to grade 8 who attend a school outside the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
