  • What is the admissions process?

    To apply to Ursuline, fill out an application, submit the appropriate application fee, and provide the past 3 years of academic records and standardized test scores. A grade-level assessment will be required for each grade.
  • When should I apply?

    Applications are accepted beginning in the fall for the following school year.

    Students applying for High School should follow the deadlines for high school applications as set by the Archdiocese of New Orleans. For the 2020-2021 school year, white cards are due Friday, November 15.

    For Early Childhood and Elementary, the early application deadline for the 2020-2021 school year is Monday, December 9. Early testing will then be held on December 20 for Toddler 2 through Kindergarten, and January 10 for 1st through 7th.
  • How can I arrange a tour of the school?

    Private tours for Early Childhood, Elementary, and High School are offered Tuesdays between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. To schedule your tour, contact Becky McLellan in the Office of Admissions.
  • How can I arrange for my daughter to spend the day at your school?

    To experience what life is like at UA, students interested in applying to 5th through 9th grade are encouraged to spend a day at with us. They will meet our students, learn more about our curriculum and programs, attend classes, and have the chance to tour our campus.

  • When is Open House?

    High School Open House is Thursday, October 24 from 5-7 pm. Click to register now.

    Elementary and Early Childhood Open House is Friday, October 25 from 8:30-10:00 am. Click to register now.

  • How are students notified of whether or not they are accepted?

    All admissions decisions are made by the Ursuline Academy Admissions Committee. The committee’s decisions regarding admission are communicated in writing by the Admissions Office and mailed to the applicant’s home address.
