Welcome, Jennie Guidry, High School Academic Assistant Principal

We are excited to welcome Jennie Guidry as High School Academic Assistant Principal. In addition to this role, she will also teach math in our high school division. Mrs. Guidry has spent the last seven years at NOCCA where she served in several capacities. She was the founding math faculty member in NOCCA’s Academic Studio, College Counselor, and, most recently Director of Protocol. Prior to NOCCA, Jennie was on the faculty of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge for five years where she was the Chair of the Math Department. It was during this time that she first came to Ursuline as part of a school accreditation team. She was taken with the school’s dedication to service and focus on the individual student and is incredibly happy to find her way back to the Academy.
Jennie completed her undergraduate and graduate work at LSU in Secondary Math Education and Curriculum and Instruction where her research focused on the unique needs of academically gifted adolescent girls and the role of character education in modern curriculum. Her love of math has evolved into a love of data analysis for school improvement. In her 12 years as an educator, Jennie has had many roles, but always keeps students at the center of every decision. She looks forward to all of these coming together in her new role at Ursuline.

When asked about joining Ursuline's high school administration, Jennie responded: "I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the Ursuline family. I look forward to getting to know the faculty and young women and doing everything I can to help each student become the best version of herself."

Please join us in welcoming Jennie Guidry to Ursuline Academy.
