Our senior Ursuline girls participated in a video conference with Father James Martin, SJ. Fr. Martin spoke about his ministry to LGBT+ Catholics, where he works to foster an atmosphere of love and mutual respect between the Church and LGBT+ people. He also spoke about how to create and follow a "pro-life for the whole life" ethic that seeks to respect the life and dignity of all people. Finally, he spoke about his meeting last year with Pope Francis where the pope gave him encouragement to continue his current ministries. Father Martin said that he was "so impressed with the mature faith that these young women showed, a testimony to the great work being done at this prestigious school."
