UA Swim Team: strong showing at the State Championship Meet

The Swim team finished the season with a strong showing at the State Championship.

Our Senior Captain Julia Flood finished third in the consolation final of the 50 free and 11th overall with a time of 27.59. Julia also finished 12th in the 100 free with a time of 1:03.53 and the 200 free relay finished 12th with a season best time of 2:04.19. In the 400 free relay the team swam a season best time of 4:37.45 cutting 7 seconds earning a 10th place finish and 2nd place finish in the consolation final.

Several of our swimmers swam season best times as well.
Caitlyn Hall swam a season best time in the 50 free of 30.98. Kristina Rosch swam a 31.36 in the 50 free and 1:14.49 in the 100 free.

Julia Flood swam a 1:03.19 in the 100 free. Isabella Suarez swam a 1:08.38 in the 100 free.
We're very proud of the girls' effort and the state meet results.
The team faced many challenges this season including hurricane Ida and 6 canceled meets. Congratulations to the team and coaches.
