Catholic Schools Week Mass Highlights Ursuline History

A great way to end Catholic Schools Week was by celebrating Mass and almost 300 years of Catholic education. Archbishop Gregory Aymond gave a wonderful homily highlighting our Ursuline Sisters who created the first Catholic school in the country. Ursuline Academy could not be more proud to carry such an important distinction for the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

We also had the honor of watching Junior Skip, Isabel Frey Ribiero, accept her award for winning the Archdiocese Tricentennial Hymn Competition, which was also sung as the recessional hymn at the end of Mass.
