Coach Goff spent the last four seasons with the Nicholls Women's Basketball program, serving as Assistant Coach. During this time, the university produced four All-Southland Conference players, including the school's first Conference Player of the Year. He contributed to some of the best seasons in Nicholls history, including winning the first conference tournament championship, playing in its first NCAA tournament game, and helping to achieve the best conference record in the program's history. His other responsibilities included, but were not limited to team travel, player development, academic oversight, recruiting, team scouting, and practice planning.
Prior to Nicholls, he spent one season under the same title at Southeastern Louisiana University, producing two All-Conference players. While completing his undergraduate degree at Southeastern, Goff coached at Denham Springs Junior High. Following his graduation, he coached in the high school ranks at Albany and Springfield. He served as Varsity Head Coach for the boys and girls basketball teams at Albany after one season as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Springfield High. He also taught science and health/physical education on the high school level. He will teach physical science and health/physical education in our high school.
A native of Walker, Louisiana, Goff was also active in the AAU circuit, coaching with the Mardi Gras Gators and Louisiana Lady Select, garnishing him national exposure. He is married to Catie Ragusa Goff, and together they have a son - Lucas Michael.
When asked about joining Ursuline, Coach Goff responded: "I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Ursuline family and I look forward to making a difference by helping our students reach their dreams both on and off the court." Please join us in welcoming Kris Goff to Ursuline Academy.
