Our 7th graders ended the first week of school with a day of reflection led by the High School Retreat Team. The theme was "Being a Role Model." This special day is meant to help the girls understand what a role model is and why it's important to be one. It is also a great way to excite them about the opportunities to be a role model both in middle school and as upcoming high school students. They focused on 1 Timothy 4:12: "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." It was a great day of uplifting talks from high school students and community building amongst classmates. We are confident that this last year of middle school will be great!
