Ursuline Awarded Service and STEM Grants

Student representatives, from both the high school and elementary school divisions, hosted a STEM table at a Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation Service Learning Event. At the event, students accepted grant funds on behalf of Ursuline Academy. The Academy received a grant totaling $12,482 to support service learning programs in grades 7-12. Ursuline was also selected to participate in the foundation's SupportSTEM pilot program. As a part of this program, Ursuline received a grant totaling $40,000 to be used to enhance STEM programs throughout the Academy! We are so excited for our Ursuline Girls.

Congratulations to Ursuline Girl, Elsie LeBlanc, on winning the Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation Service Learning Program's annual logo and theme contest. Elsie's artwork was featured on the invitation, service binder cover, tote bags, and t-shirts for the event!
