Senior Retreat with the Skips of 2019

Senior Retreat was a special time for my classmates and me. We got to spend cherished times together creating memories before we go our own ways. One special time on this retreat was the amount of personal reflection we had that allowed me to help discover myself and my relationship with God. I could see God on this retreat through my classmates and our fun times, alumnae who volunteered time to work and plan this retreat, and the teachers who allowed us to be ourselves and also showed a little bit of themselves. All and all, senior retreat made me proud to be a member of my class and the Ursuline community. This community is something I will bring with me when I go to college!

With college rounding the corner, my senior class had time to come together and prepare for our entrance into the open world. Ursuline alumnae planned the Senior Retreat over the past year, so that it would benefit us for our upcoming future. Speeches about college and religious experiences helped us gain knowledge about what is ahead of us and how we can enhance our relationship with God. The time we shared together was spent by bonding and listening to women that the senior class admires.

Returning back to school after our winter break was the perfect time for my classmates and me to travel to Rosaryville Spirit Life Center for our Senior Retreat. We arrived prepared to bond, make memories, and hear about independence in college. Past Retreat Team members came back to speak with us about their freshmen experiences and how they maintained their faith life in college. It was a wonderful three days celebrating each other, Ursuline, and Jesus. Senior Retreat was full of memories that will stick with us until our future class reunions!
