High School Career Day

On Tuesday morning, over thirty different professionals came to campus to share their stories and career experience with the high school students. Deborah Love, Vice President in the Office of Institutional Equity at Tulane University, began the day as our keynote speaker. Afterwards, the students chose four other career presentations to attend. Our guests included over 30 alumnae, parents, and community professionals speaking on many different careers including engineering, veterinary medicine, writers, designers, forensics, business, photography, a chef, and many areas of the medical field. The eighth grade students attended a workshop by Herman Schulz with CareerThink and then two career presentations.

Ursuline Academy cannot thank our visitors enough for sharing their wisdom and time with our girls. Following
Ursuline Academy’s motto Serviam: I will serve, we thank them for so perfectly demonstrating this to our girls through the work they do.
