Middle School Cheer Excels at UCA Camp

The Middle School Cheerleaders attended UCA Junior High Cheer Camp at Southeastern University for the first time. The girls enjoyed was four jam-packed days of instruction, practice, evaluations, and even homework!

Our team received superior ribbons for their sideline, cheer, and extreme routine evaluations. They also received a spirit stick each night of camp.

Maddie Scalia and Olivia Zimmer both received a "Pin it Forward" pin, given to one cheerleader by an instructor who possesses what it means to be a cheerleader, having genuine spirit, motivation, and kindness. That cheerleader is then asked to pin it forward and give another pin to someone from a different team that she feels has those same qualities.

Madison Levy was selected as an All-American and will have the opportunity to perform at a special event.

On the final day, our girls competed and won third place overall for their Xtreme routine. The team was even invited to perform at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando!

We are so proud of these girls and we can't wait to see what else they will accomplish throughout the year as they perform at games and competitions!
