This class will teach karate etiquette, basic Olympic karate techniques, physical training and Japanese names of the taught techniques. Olena Zviagintseva has experience in the fitness industry for 20 years and is a dedicated sports coach with a rich background in physical activity and mentorship. For last past 8 years, she's been passionately serving as a dance cheerleading coach, discovering her true calling in this role. Lena's sports journey kicked off at the age of 4, progressing from gymnastics to achieving the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine in sports acrobatics. Classes are focused on learning basic dance techniques such styles as Pom Dance, Jazz and Hip-Hop as well as life skills. Engaging in a dance team is an enriching experience for kids and teens, not only enhancing physical fitness, coordination, and flexibility but also fostering a deep connection with music. Aside from the physical skills it takes to leap, jump and turn, being a dancer teaches you practical life skills like discipline, teamwork and goal setting, all while building confidence. Dancing is more than the practices, games and competitions – it’s about developing to your fullest potential and becoming the very best version of yourself.

This class teaches young athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Each participant will learn cheers, proper hand/body movements and jumping techniques.
